Dear Friends –

Our partner, Community Blood Services, has reached a financial decision that will affect our mothers that deliver at Christiana Hospital. Unfortunately, the cost of providing the donation service is just too high. Therefore, our program will not be able to accommodate any new donations delivering after December 31, 2012. We have asked Christiana if they will honor all moms that have already pre-registered for delivery in 2013 as of November 23, 2012 – we have yet to hear from them but hope to.

We will not be accepting any new pre registrations for due dates after December 31, 2012 at Christiana – but we are accepting pre registrations up to that date. We are offering to officials at Christiana Care Health Systems our assistance with making a new partnership with another bank that has the financial resources to continue offering moms the ability to Give Life. Twice.

Fortunately, this development with Community Blood Services DOES NOT affect our program at St. Francis Hospital at this time.

We will continue to keep you posted on the programs at both Christiana and St. Francis over the coming weeks and months. As always, we thank you for your continued support in helping us to help moms in Delaware to Give Life. Twice.
